Transformice Gameplay Controls:
To execute normal commands, you need to make sure that the chat box is not in focus. Below, I have listed the most important commands you need to know before starting playing Transformice.
- Arrows or WASD for moving and jumping
- Enter to change focus between chat and game and send messages
- Shift+Enter to expand chat box
- E to throw confetti on other mice
- I to open the inventory
- T for sending messages to your tribe. Pressing T automatically writes /t in the chat box. You can then simply write the message send it by pressing enter. It will only be visible to your tribe.
Chat Commands:
Chat Commands can be executed simply by writing a / in the chat box followed by the command. Any text preceded by a / will not be sent as a message but taken as a command by the game. Below are some of the important Chat Commands.
- /w [username]: to whisper to the username. A whisper is a secret message which will only show up to the user it is sent to.
- /chat [chatroom]: If the chatroom exists, you will join it. If it doesn’t new chatroom will be made.
- /silence: Turns the whisper on/off.
- /mute [username]: Ignore the user. You will not recieve any messages from that user in your chat box.
- /watch [username]: The mouse of username specified will become pink and all other player’s mice will become semi transparent. Good tool to keep an eye on a player if you want to help/annoy him.
- /ban [username]: To keep peace in the game, /ban command is used to vote for a ban to the user specified. If enough users vote for ban, the player will be banned.
- /report [username]: A pop up appears where you can type the reason you want a player to be banned for. If enough players vote, the player will be banned for respective time based his activities.
- /friend [username]: Add someone to your friends list.
- /profile [username]: Allows you to see someone’s profile.
- /filter: On/Off bad words filter.
- /t: To send message only to your tribe members. This can also be done by pressing T key while the chat is not focus.
- /inv [username]: Invite a user to your tribe.
- /musique [url to mp3]: Plays mp3 file in the background.
- /room [name of room]: Join a room. There are international as well as local rooms available. Writing a * before room name indicates it is an international room while writing # indicated it is a local room.
- /title: There is a title shown above each mouse in the game showing his ability of game. As you progress, you will unlock new titles. /title will allow you to choose a title from your unlocked ones.
- /mort: An important command. You can commit suicide using /mort. Comes in handy when you are stuck at some place and are unable to get out. Specially on maps where players automatically respawn after short intervals.
- /fps: Lets you switch between 36 and 60 fps manually.
